I haven’t worked explicitly on these pieces; I just had the music easily accessible on Mutopia around and thought that Vivi could probably manage it, so I tossed them together.
The Tchaikovsky was entered manually from my orchestra part. :)
BWV 1006 Prelude | J.S. Bach (1685–1750) | lilypond source | mp3 | mpeg | the first two notes are poor; the rest is pretty good though!
May Song (group) | Folk Song | lilypond source | mp3 | I always enjoyed playing music together in masterclasses
Minuet 2 with piano | J.S. Bach (1685–1750) | lilypond source | mp3 | hearing the Suzuki pieces with piano as well is glorious
Gavotte with piano | F.J. Gossec (1734–1829) | lilypond source | mp3
16ths from violin part of Tchaik. "Romeo and Juliet" (group) | Tchaikovsky (1840–1893) | lilypond source | mp3 | the open Es really stick out; that’s something to work on in the future |
Note: in the above table, "May Song" was played with "ok" skill, and the Tchaik was played with "good" skill.
Variable skill
Vivi’s timing and left-hand finger accuracy can be deliberately degraded. This may be useful to simulate a more human performer, particularly if one wishes to hear a composition as it might be played by a beginning violinist.
